Cookie Policy

Last updated: 11 May 2026

This policy explains what cookies (and similar technologies) the BYOB.asia website uses and why. We've kept it short because we use very few.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are commonly used to remember preferences, keep you signed in, or track behaviour for advertising. Browsers let you view, block, or delete them at any time.

2. Our stance

We don't use cookies for advertising, retargeting, behavioural profiling, or cross-site tracking. We use a cookieless analytics service to measure aggregate traffic — no personal identifiers and no IP address storage.

3. Cookies we do use

The only cookies set by this site are strictly necessary for the website to function:

Cookie Set by Purpose Duration
__cf_bm Cloudflare Bot management — protects the site from automated abuse at the CDN layer. 30 minutes
cf_clearance Cloudflare Verifies you've passed a security challenge (set only if a DDoS challenge is triggered). 30 days

4. Third-party embeds

This website does not embed any third-party iframes or widgets that set their own cookies. When you tap a WhatsApp or Telegram link, you are redirected to those apps — any cookies they set are governed by their own policies and apply only within their platforms, not on this website. Cloudflare's hosting-layer cookies are listed in section 3 above.

5. Managing cookies

All major browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies at any time:

Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break form submissions or trigger repeated security challenges, but it will not stop you from browsing the site.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
